BioSpace1 is a multi-tenant life science business center.                                   

The first floor of the two story facility is reserved for more established life science tenants and contains build-to-suit space. The second floor is a business incubator for start-up companies with 16 wet-lab and office suites (approx. 1,000 sq. ft. each) and 18 additional offices.  Tenants share a Core Lab and four conference rooms. 

All BioSpace1 tenants share common space that includes building reception, restrooms with showers, sit-down lounge for dining, vending machines, a formal and two additional conference rooms, loading dock, secured individual hazardous waste storage, and ample free parking. 

The building is supported with back-up power to maintain critical lab functions, broadband internet (hardwired & wireless), and voice over IP telephony.  The building is card access only with four security cameras and after-hours uniformed security

InterTech Science Park is an urban science and technology park that leverages the considerable research, educational and facility resources of nine universities and colleges and thirteen community and technical colleges in north Louisiana. InterTech clients include biotech, chemical, information technology and drug development and manufacturing companies. Today, 13,000 medically related personnel work in.

InterTech, creating an environment in which knowledge-based industry can thrive. In addition to supportive technology infrastructure, Shreveport enjoys one of the lowest operating costs for biotech/pharmaceutical related manufacturing in the country, making InterTech a competitive location to establish technology companies.

InterTech provides its tenants with access to academic facilities, researchers, core equipment laboratories, animal care, multi-tenant wet lab and office space, land for building, venture capital, business planning assistance and financial incentives.
