MISSION
Provision of an environment in which a new or small emerging business can learn effective business practices while actually engaging in business operations, with the end result of creating jobs and diversifying the economy in Acadiana.

MANAGEMENT ASSISTANCE
Management guidance is provided by the Center’s management and, when necessary, other agencies in the area are utilized.  Assistance to the clients in the incubator are included in the leasing arrangements.  For entrepreneurs needing assistance outside the incubator, it is available, often at no charge.  If the necessary assistance is very intensive, some fee may be negotiated to cover costs.

ENVIRONMENT
ECOL provides an environment conducive to professional business operations.  A small business can have all of the amenities of a larger company without spending precious capital.

This includes a reception area, conference room, board rooms, Internet access thru a variety of sources including DSL, Cable, T1 by several providers, break rooms with refrigerator and microwave, forklift, vending machines, and restrooms.

FACILITIES
30,000 square feet of office and production suites in the building.  Flexible occupancy agreement package provides areas for individual companies to set up their businesses in the way that best fits their needs.
