The Dixie Business Center, serving Southeast Louisiana, and located in Denham Springs, Livingston Parish, offers an accessible, affordable environment to enable businesses to grow and prosper while acquiring the assets that will lead to a successful transition to the business community.

The purpose of the Center is to enable new and emerging companies to establish and enhance the marketable qualities of their businesses while securing a foothold in their industry and in the community.  These businesses utilize the available resources of the Center to establish a solid foundation for their company.  While existing in a protected and educational environment, small companies are able to build a foundation for continued growth and cultivate important networking and managerial skills without the difficult initial expenses that are necessary in a start-up business situation.

Perhaps even more important than the material offerings of the Center is the cooperative environment which promotes and encourages networking among tenants.  Such contacts can often mean the difference between success and failure following graduation from the Center.

The expertise of the facility’s resource team is a further benefit to members by providing assistance in the seemingly foreign process of securing financial backing and assistance.  The help provided in establishing contacts is often the key to obtaining loans and expanding credit opportunities.  The information and experience gained by going through this process is invaluable to new businesses and those with plans for expansion.

Shared facilities and equipment are an important asset that enables tenants to concentrate on the task of establishing a solid foundation that will ensure the success of their business.

 Such services and equipment include:
  • Copier and FAX services

  • Conference Room

  • Computer facilities

  • Janitoral services

  • Receptionist

  • Utilities

Without the burden of paying individually for such services and maintenance of office equipment, members of the Center can focus their energies on building their businesses and channeling profits into the success of their company, rather than expensive overhead.
