The Business Incubators that are members of
LBIA provide a comprehensive program of business services
and guidance targeted to the needs of start-up and fledgling
companies to speed them to market and increase their chances
for success. Since the first Louisiana Business Incubator
opened in the late 1980s, business incubation has served
over 2,000 businesses and created 10,000 jobs. More than 300
firms have graduated from Louisiana Business Incubators and
successfully moved into the state’s business mainstream,
creating jobs throughout Louisiana.
